It has been almost psychologically hardwired for us to prefer warm tones and colours. This is especially so in photography and artwork, where we associate warm toned photos as more natural and inviting. Our OOWA lenses have built-in slight warm tint to them. This is to help you capture photos in the most organic and natural lighting possible.
However, the issue lies in that we may not always wish to include these natural warm tints in certain photos. Which is why we have made this quick step-by-step tutorial on how to colour correct your photos to a cool tone if needed.
Using the native iPhone Camera App
1. Pull up the photo you wish to colour correct from warm to cool.
10. The final product, using the native iPhone Camera app.
Using the VSCO app
We can also take it a step further and import our finished product into the VSCO app.
4. The finished product, using both the native iPhone Camera app and the VSCO app.
We hope that using our simple guide, you too, will be able to Colour Correct your photos with no problem!
