Aaron (@abrownin) touches on his experience working with our OOWA lenses during his first-ever iPhone-only photoshoot.
Last month I did an entire photoshoot with my iPhone 6s for the first time and wrote about my experience. Thanks to that article I was lucky enough to receive some special lenses made for the iPhone from OOWA to try out.
The iPhone 6s has only 1 fixed lens. Limitations can be great with any art form but sometimes you want to achieve something different. For example, I couldn't get wide or close crops of my subject with the fixed field of view on my phone.

OOWA makes both a 15mm and 75mm lens which attach to their custom iPhone case. These two lenses made my iPhone even more versatile and they both fit neatly inside my jacket pocket.
OOWA 15mm Lens
The 15mm lens gave me an ultra-wide field of view. Similar to a fisheye lens, you would imagine it would be great for landscapes - but I had great success shooting portraits.
The 15mm introduces a lot of distortion around the edges so you want to include your subject in the centre for optimal sharpness. You can use this distortion to your advantage by choosing an interesting background.
